Since Age is quitting, and he was the one who started this challenge, I guess it doesn't really matter if other people want to take a break or quit... there weren't any penalties before, and there won't be in the future - even the people who have 'failed' the challenge are still totally able to post and update if they ever feel they want to in the future. So you won't get banned or anything if you stop.
Nobody really reads this blog; so it's no big deal if everyone were to stop... however, if you entirely quit the challenge, then you have still failed it, whether you are penalized or not. Whether you care about that failure or not is up to you.
Now, if anyone wants to take a break or do sporadic updates, feel free. Neither I, nor Age, nor Panda, will remove you from the blog. As for myself, this blog is a way for me to practice my art... and even though I am not good and I make little progress, I am sure I am making some progress. With that said, I won't be quitting myself, and even if I half-ass my drawings or only do one terrible sketch a day, I will still draw something. At least, until I hit day 365, I will try my hardest to post at least one picture a day.
tl;dr do whatever you want, I would like you to update as frequently as possible, but if you are drained or something don't force yourself to submit work. The world won't end if you don't.
This is supposed to be fun and for improvement, so if you see it as a chore, then it is fine if you want to relax! It's just the internet, after all.
Edit: Hurrr, I totally forgot about doing banners. Maybe we should make some new ones this weekend.
If anyone wants to make banners, send them to Panda and he or I will add them to the FTP later... or you can just ask him for the FTP info.
