The way I see it, you start constructing the bodies from the beginning, which make some of your drawings look somewhat stiff at times. At this point of the drawing, you don't need to concentrate on construction or anatomy but on conveying the action of the body. Make the figure flows, try to use a lot of curvy lines, things like that. Well Vilppu is very good at explaining so you'll see it better said soon, haha.
Btw Vilppu's videos order go : gesture => anatomy => general. Just telling you like that, because I went the wrong way at first and it kinda gave me problems. Good luck!
